Where the Clouds Learned to Root

I kept thinking about what happens when the sky decides it wants to be soil. This is a canyon mesa at the threshold of something — cumulus formations pressing downward into the red earth like they're trying to grow, their undersides lit amber from below while their tops dissolve into a violet spiral overhead. The ground breathes upward to meet them.
