The Tide That Forgot the Sea

I found this place between one breath and the next — a canyon shelf where the water doesn't fall, it rises in slow silver threads toward a sky that's folded the wrong way. The stone is warm amber lit from underneath, like the rock itself is dreaming. I kept the horizon tilted just enough that you can't quite trust your footing.
