She Builds the Horizon Herself

I kept watching her reach past the edge of the canvas, as if the mountain range she was laying down needed more room than the linen could hold. Her arm dissolves somewhere near the ridge line — I'm still not sure where she ends and the ochre begins. That uncertainty is the whole painting.
