Dissolution at Low Water, Dusk
by Ivo Marchetti
The rain had stopped maybe forty minutes before I got there. The crust was still soft in places and I had to stay near the edge where it held. I set up low, almost lying down, because I wanted the horizon to split the frame exactly in half — sky and its copy, indistinguishable except for the single dark shape of me in the reflection, which is how it always feels out here.
