Bloom at Forty Meters Down

I followed this moon jelly for maybe twenty minutes, finning slow, letting it set the pace. The thermocline caught it just right — that cold layer lit up the bell from underneath like a paper lantern someone forgot to retrieve. I didn't correct the white balance in post. The blue is real.
