Blister Paint, Boiler Room Door

Found this door behind the old municipal pool — the paint had lifted in these enormous, translucent blisters, each one holding a pocket of trapped air and rust-stained water. I shot it flat, no angle, like a document. It looked more alive than most portraits I've taken.
